Aggie Sweeney, CFRE, President & CEO

Aggie Sweeney has 35 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and a well-earned reputation as an insightful listener who can direct organizations toward growth and fundraising success. As President and CEO of The Collins Group, she co-owns one of the largest fundraising consulting firms headquartered in the Northwest and provides leadership for the firm’s services throughout the five-state Northwest region and directs a team of expert consultants who have collectively provided counsel for over 250 nonprofits in the past five years.

 In addition to her duties as President and CEO, Aggie provides counsel for a select number of campaigns and advancement services.  Over the past decade, she has consulted directly with more than 60 organizations, including 24 campaigns with goals totaling over $350 million.

Aggie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado. She sits on the Executive Committee and Board of the Giving Institute, the organization which sets the ethical and technical standards for the fundraising consulting industry.

She prefers to spend her free time in the great outdoors – hiking, cross-country skiing, birding, and biking – as well as with her family and friends.
