Colette Mercier, Finance Director

Colette Mercier, Finance Director, manages TCG’s financial operations. She has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit accounting as finance director, controller, and consultant, in organizations of varying size and mission.  She is also currently CFO of Associates in Cultural Exchange, a nonprofit organization promoting global citizenship through language and cultural education.  Her expertise extends to administration, development/finance coordination, and restoring fiscal order in troubled organizations.  Her personal mission is to promote fiscal/administrative integrity and transparency as the bedrock upon which an organization’s mission can be securely grounded.

Colette received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences at University of California–Berkeley, and did graduate work in sociology and anthropology at City University of New York Graduate Center. Having completed ministerial studies with Centers for Spiritual Living, she is Co-Founding Minister of Amazing Grace Spiritual Center, a New Thought church meeting in Seattle’s South Lake Union District.

A lover of music and reading, Colette also manages and performs with a local community choir, in addition to her practice as a licensed spiritual counselor and teacher.
