James Plourde, CFRE, Senior Consultant

James Plourde brings over 20 years of development and public relations experience to his work at The Collins Group. As a Senior Consultant, James offers expertise in major gifts, strategic direction, key messaging and case development, and marketing communications.

Prior to working at The Collins Group, James spent 11 years at Pacific Lutheran University leading PLU’s development team. He led a $128 million capital campaign and later served as Acting Vice President. Before PLU, James supervised annual and capital fundraising and public relations efforts for Charles Wright Academy, a 690-student, K-12 independent school.

James holds Master’s degrees from Seattle University and University of Oregon and a BS from Southern Connecticut State University. When not at TCG, James enjoys golfing, reading poetry, and bicycling.
