Kate Roosevelt, CFRE, Vice President

kate_roosevelt_funKate Roosevelt, CFRE, Vice President, has provided plans and innovative programming to nonprofit organizations and public agencies for more than 13 years. She is a skilled strategic planner and a clear, inspiring presenter. Kate heads the Client Services team, which focuses on building and strengthening client relationships so that our clients can meet their goals, professional development for our consulting staff, and local and national philanthropic trends.

Kate has worked with more than 40 clients, including The Nature Conservancy, Seattle Art Museum, Northwest Harvest, Seattle Parks Foundation, Highline Community College Foundation, Bertschi School, Downtown Emergency Service Center, and the Arts Council of Snohomish County.

Prior to joining The Collins Group in 2000, she served as Executive Director of the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition and as Associate Director of the Cascade Center for Public Service at the University of Washington. Kate serves as treasurer of the Southeast Seattle Seniors Foundation, on AFP Washington's Professional Education Committee, and withboth her alma maters.

She holds a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. In her spare time, Kate is happiest throwing dinner parties for friends, traveling near and far, and playing with her goldendoodle puppy, Penny.
