Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, Seattle, Washington

In addition to its spiritual ministries, the Saint Mark’s Cathedral community is known for social justice ministries and extensive outreach to the homeless and powerless. Currently, The Collins Group is working with Saint Mark’s to develop a new strategic plan that will guide the Cathedral’s many and well-known parish, outreach, and community programs. In 2003, The Collins Group conducted a feasibility study testing support for a $35 million capital and endowment campaign to purchase and endow maintenance of two neighboring properties, including the historic St. Nicholas School. Based on the study findings and recommendations, St. Mark’s purchased the school building and launched a series of capacity building initiatives.
