Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation, Mount Vernon, Washington

With the goal of becoming the most comprehensive public medical center in Northwest Washington, Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation retained The Collins Group to provide counsel for its regional cancer care center capital campaign. The new center was a $10.8 million final major project within the hospital’s $122+ million master plan. In 2005, the hospital joined the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, ensuring that the resources of three internationally renowned cancer care institutions will enhance oncology services in the Skagit Valley area. The campaign was the largest effort to date in Skagit Valley and volunteers were actively engaged in encouraging the community to step-up with major and lead gifts to realize the vision of quality medical care close to home. The Foundation recently met their $4 million private goal.
