Therapeutic Health Services was founded 40 years ago to provide counseling to individuals and families facing issues related to alcohol and drug abuse and mental illness. In 2007, THS retained The Collins Group to help it define its direction and build a sustainable communications and fundraising program to better fulfill its mission. During a seven-month period, TCG evaluated THS, worked with THS staff and board to update its strategic plan, and subsequently created five-year strategic and development plans for maximum effectiveness. TCG also helped hone THS’s key messages for donors, funders, and prospects. After the project’s completion, we were retained to help the organization implement the study recommendations and to provide executive coaching.
